Post 7 - Day 2: Cherokee to Wall Lake

Today's miles: 67.0
Total ride miles: 116.4
Temp: 104 degrees

After barely surviving day 1 - we move on to day 2.  Tick tock…. tick tock….. tick tock.

Day 2 - Team B52s leaving Cherokee

Today's halfway point was Schaller.  The group got back on track.

The heat is challenging enough in and of itself, but many of the rides require the B52s to ride additional mileage.  On day 2, this was particularly challenging because they had to ride on a highway with traffic.  And the team couldn't decide if they were going in the right direction.  Mutiny was moments away, but reason prevailed and the team reached our campsite.
